The first international subsidiary starts business in Austria and thereby heralds the start of MAXDATA's European sales activities. Turnover increases to a total of €195 million. |

MAXDATA purchases Peacock AG and establishes subsidiaries in Great Britain and the Netherlands. The company recorded €593 million turnover in its tenth year of business. |

At the end of the year MAXDATA sold the restructured Peacock AG to Actebis Holding GmbH. Group turnover totalled €856 million, 571 employees. Metro AG transfers its direct interest in MAXDATA AG to CBA Computer Handels- und Beteiligungs GmbH & Co. KG, a subsidiary of DIVACO Beteiligungs AG. |

On January 1 MAXDATA purchases the production of VOBIS Microcomputer AG including all properties in Würselen near Aachen. The MAXDATA Group restructures and becomes the Group holding company, MAXDATA AG. On September 9 the company is listed on the Neue Markt. As a result of taking over the production facilities the number of employees increased to 1,205. Turnover in the year of the IPO: €1,116 billion. Establishment of the subsidiary in France. |

MAXDATA completes the restructuring of the divisions. The number of employees climbs to 1,305. OEM business – production for other brands – is stopped. For this reason turnover falls to €952 million in spite of increases in core business. |

The Group-wide conversion to SAP R3 helps to slim down processes and produce better throughput times for BTO/BTC manufacture. The provision of a level playing field also enables the company to drive forward internationalisation. The turnover was €752 million with 1,222 employees. |

MAXDATA's shares are authorised to be traded on the Prime Standard. MAXDATA further expands its international sales activities: a new country subsidiary starts work in Italy. |

An employment pact ensures competitiveness: The employees agree to extend working hours to 41 per week for the same salary and to do without two days holiday. |

MAXDATA achieves the highest sales volume ever with servers, desktops and notebooks as well as Belinea TFT displays. This success is confirmed by the market research institute GfK: With a 10 percent share of the total monitor market, Belinea is market leader in Germany – and has been for 10 years! The hardware manufacturer invests in a new picking facility at the production site Würselen in order to increase its production capacity. Thanks to the new plant, MAXDATA can now produce up to 600 computers per hour. |
| 2006 |
MAXDATA is expanding abroad: The company focuses on the distribution in order to open new markets in Europe. It is now represented via this distribution channel in Sweden and Norway, Estonia, Latvia and Russia as well as in Turkey. MAXDATA products are now available in 27 countries. In conjunction with Microsoft, MAXDATA founds the project "IT-Brücke" (IT bridge) in order to support social and cultural organizations with hardware and software. |
| 2007 |
MAXDATA Systeme GmbH, located in Würselen (Germany), opens itself to orders from third parties under the name MANULOGS Manufacturing and Logistic Services GmbH. As a member of the MAXDATA corporate group, the company focuses on assembly and logistics services for all kinds of modern information technology. MANULOGS now offers this services to third parties. The ability to take on large-scale orders as well as individual orders is a virtually unique feature of the company in Europe.
Since November, the international MAXDATA service units have also been providing their professionalism and experience to other manufacturers, distributors and dealers under the name SLP Solutions GmbH. A member of the MAXDATA corporate group, the company offers highly professional, Europe-wide services on all aspects of maintenance, repair and exchange of IT products.
Notebooks and accessories have been included in the product range of the Belinea brand from September. Belinea products are available in three lines, o.line, b.line and s.line. Each line is devised to precisely fulfill the requirements of a specific target group and has a unique, unified design. With the o.line and s.line, MAXDATA addresses the consumer market for the first time, b.line products are further on intended for professional business customers.
